Maddie was bred here at Blackthorn and since Maddie's owner (Sharon Moore) does not have a website, we wanted to help Sharon by listing her upcoming litter in hopes of directing the right families to these special puppies. We endorse this breeding along with anticipation of a puppy from it. We include a bit more information on Maddie here because unlike our own bitches, she does not have her own individual web page. Maddie is OFA Hips "Good" and Elbows "Normal" (OFA #LR162082G31F & LR-EL32245F32), Eyes Certified Clear and current. As you can see with all the titles that follow Maddie's name, she is an over achieving and athletic girl with a strong willingness to please attitude. To explain these titles, Maddie has a "Good Citizen" certification, Rally Novice Title, Tracking Title, Novice Agility Jumper, and most recently Maddie has her "Tracking Dog Excellent" title. Sharon Moore explains that in order to receive this TDX Title, Maddie tracked a scent laid a minimum of 3 hours / maximum 5 hours ahead of time and at a length of 845 yards. This track had two other scents crossing over the actual scent as a distraction to failure. Maddie not only stayed on Track but completed her Track in a very fast 8 minutes. Maddie has been shown in Conformation very little but she has accumulated 3 minor Points towards her American Championship in her last two outings, demonstrating Smart and hard working and beautiful too!
